Adults prefer to feed on fermentating fruit and tree sap.
The origin of Euxanthe and wakefieldi is currently unknown.
The Forest Queens are primarily found in coastal forest in areas where the sun penetrates the forest canopy.
Males are territorial and patrol their territories for females as they pass through. After mating the females lay their eggs on the host plant. When the caterpillars hatch from their eggs they feed on the host plant until they form their chrysalis.
The flight period of the Forest Queen is currently unknown.
The genus Euxanthe is a very small group which at this time only contains 6 species. Males and females look very similar except for a slight difference in the size of the white patch located on the base of the hindwings. The patch found on the female is larger than that found on the male.
